Man Arrested Over Charity Box Theft

A man has been arrested over the theft of a charity collection box in Peterlee.

It was collecting money for 5 year old Bradley Lowery who's battling cancer.

The box was stolen over the weekend from The Lunch Box shop on Yoden Road.

Durham Police say the money has been recovered and a man was arrested around 3:30am this morning.
